2 Armed Close Protection Officers in Peru

We were pleased to be contracted to provide two licensed, armed close protection operatives in Peru for a group of young people and their supervisors visiting from the United States.

The Assignment

The organisers wanted to ensure that the group were protected at all times against any potential risks from criminals who might seek to exploit the situation of a group of young tourists in an unfamiliar country.

We were tasked with:

• Protecting airport transfers
• Ensuring that officers were present during transport to and from hotels
• Accompanying the group on board during bus travel to various tourist destinations
• Close protection officers are present during visits to tourist destinations

Destinations Across Peru

Over approximately 2 weeks, the tour group had a full itinerary and was accompanied by our CPOs on excursions that included:

• Cusco city tour and Sacred Valley
• A visit to Lima and the Ballestas Islands Tour
• A visit to Machu Picchu
• A lodge stay in Iquitos

Successful outcome

The group of young people enjoyed their tour in Peru, and both they and their parents back in the USA were reassured by the presence of our close protection operatives. With bodyguards present, all threats and potential risks were mitigated
