Close Protection for Reality TV Star Ekin-Sue

Following her rise to fame after a successful run on the eighth season of Love Island and an appearance on Dancing on Ice, Ekin-Sue embarked on a tour of both Northern and Southern Ireland to meet fans, launch a product and take photo opportunities.

We were asked to control the crowd at the events, transport her between events and run security at the hotels she stayed in. The influencer’s growing popularity raised concerns about the crowd getting too rowdy.

Our Close Protection Strategy

We recommended that 2 bodyguards would be adequate to ensure her safety when out in public.

For the influencer’s product launch, we provided plainclothes close protection officers. The officers met her at her hotel and transported her to the launch. They remained close enough to the influencer to keep her in sight and intervene if necessary, but they were not so close that they drew attention to themselves or made the influencer feel uncomfortable.

The Outcome

Under the supervision of our close protection officers, the product launch ran smoothly and without incident. The influencer was kept safe during travel to and from the launch, and space was created for her safety during the launch itself.
